High Tide Records is a YouTube series that reinterprets classic songs through live performances with Korean R&B artists. Since the early stages of the project, Moonrise Film has continuously led the cinematography and visual development of the series.

We approach this series not as simple documentation, but as a visual format that reimagines classic music through a contemporary lens. By building a vintage, theatrical mood through backlight-driven lighting and the subtle use of cross filters, we have developed a consistent, retro-inspired visual tone.

In the early stages, we experimented with true one-take performances to establish the rhythm of the series. Today, our approach has evolved into maintaining near-continuous, sequence-driven camera flow even within edited structures. Moonrise Film continues to shape the series with a focus on consistency and accumulated visual identity.
