Odd Season은 시네마틱한 영상 언어를 바탕으로
예술, 건축, 디자인, 문화 전반의 세계를 기록하고 해석하는 크리에이티브 크루입니다.

우리는 프로젝트를 단순히 '촬영'하는 데서 그치지 않고,
그 안에 담긴 맥락과 철학, 의도를 이해하는 과정에서부터 제작을 시작합니다.
다큐멘터리적 접근과 섬세한 인터뷰를 통해 각 작업의 본질을 탐색하고,
장면 하나하나가 진정성을 가질 수 있도록 구축합니다.

공간을 바라보는 시선, 창작자의 사고, 작품이 놓인 시대적 흐름까지 —

Odd Season is a Seoul-based creative crew
working with a cinematic approach across the fields of art, architecture, design, and culture.
Rather than simply documenting a subject,
we begin each project by exploring the context, philosophy, and intention behind it.

Our process is grounded in a documentary sensibility—
through thoughtful interviews, careful observation, and close attention to detail,
we seek to understand the essence of each work.

We look beyond surface form to capture atmosphere, perspective,
and the cultural or temporal background in which a project exists.
By connecting these elements,
we create films that communicate their message with clarity, restraint, and visual conviction.

For us, a finished film is more than a visual record—
it is an experience that interprets creative work with depth and cinematic sensitivity.

영화인의 시선Filmmaker's Perspective
Odd Season은 영화를 전공하고 실제 현장을 겪은 크루가 모여 상업 영상에도 영화적 감성과 깊이를 부여합니다. 단편영화 연출로 영화제 출품·상영 이력을 가진 크루원과, 다양한 현장에서 촬영을 쌓아온 크루원이 함께 움직이며, 단순한 정보 전달을 넘어 감정과 메시지를 담은 영상 스토리텔링을 구현합니다.

Odd Season brings together crew members trained in film and shaped by real production experience, carrying that depth into commercial work. Members with short-film credits at domestic film festivals work alongside those who have built their craft across a wide range of shoots, crafting visual storytelling that goes beyond information to carry genuine emotion and message.

With a deep understanding of contemporary art and exhibition culture, Odd Season translates the essence of artworks into film. Experience across the field—including the Buyeo National Museum's special exhibition film, Emu Cinema's exhibition film, and artist Do Ho Suh's solo exhibition film—forms a distinct strength unique to Odd Season.

통합적 제작 시스템 Integrated Production System
연출(문라이즈필름)과 촬영(피쉬탱크)이 20년 가까이 함께해온 관계를 그대로 제작 구조에 반영해, 기획부터 촬영, 편집까지 3인 크루가 전 과정을 진행합니다. 현장에서 판단한 앵글과 리듬이 편집까지 그대로 이어지고, 프로젝트 규모에 맞춰 촬영 인원과 장비 구성도 유연하게 조정합니다.

Direction (Moonrise Film) and cinematography (Fish Tank) draw on a working relationship of nearly twenty years, built directly into how the crew operates—a team of three carrying every project from planning through shooting to editing. Angles and rhythms decided on set carry straight through to the edit, while crew size and equipment scale flexibly with each project.

정부기관, 대기업 브랜드, 미술관·영화제까지 — 성격이 전혀 다른 발주처 20여 곳과 작업해온 이력을 갖추고 있습니다. 다큐멘터리부터 브랜드 필름, 전시영상, 공연 촬영까지 형식이 다른 프로젝트를 오가며, 클라이언트와 콘텐츠의 성격에 맞춰 접근 방식을 조정합니다.

From government agencies to major brands to museums and film festivals, Odd Season has worked with more than twenty clients across entirely different sectors. Moving between documentaries, brand films, exhibition films, and live performance coverage, the approach is tailored to each client and each piece of content.

Odd Season은 기획·연출 기반의 문라이즈필름과 촬영 중심의 피쉬탱크가 결합한 크리에이티브 크루입니다. 문종원과 서윤수는 20년 가까이 이어온 협업 관계를 바탕으로, 여러 프로덕션을 함께 거치며 연출과 촬영의 합을 다져왔습니다. 크루 전원이 기획·촬영·편집이 가능한 올라운드 플레이어이며, 그 위에서 프로젝트마다 각자의 포지션에 집중해 팀으로 움직입니다.

Odd Season is a creative crew formed by the union of Moonrise Film, grounded in planning and direction, and Fish Tank, centered on cinematography. Moon Jongwon and Seo Yunsu draw on a working relationship of nearly twenty years, honing their chemistry between direction and cinematography across multiple productions together. Every crew member is an all-round player capable of planning, shooting, and editing, and each focuses on their own position within the team from project to project.
